Please join us for our 8th annual Royal Gala, a community celebration where parents, SMHS staff, and the local community come together to raise funds for our mission to support curriculum enhancements, campus beautification projects, sports programs, new programs, and other student needs, helping create a school where all students feel supported and inspired to reach their highest potential. During the past nine years, RPF has raised more than $4 million and has accomplished many noteworthy goals, namely expanding the Health Careers Academy, launching the Entrepreneurship Academy and the Café Royale Culinary Program, funding new sand volleyball courts, underwriting schoolwide landscaping and infrastructure improvements, upgrading the classrooms with security locks, and supporting athletics. We cannot do this without you.
This year’s event will honor several of our outstanding community members. RPF will celebrate QAD with the Philanthropy Award in gratitude for the company’s generous donation of $18,000 to make significant computer and technology upgrades for art and marketing classrooms at SMHS. The Community Leadership Award will be presented to the Mithun Foundation for its $15,000 donation to start the Royal Care Closet. The Royal Care Closet supports students by providing such things as personal care items and professional attire. Finally, RPF will honor its Founding Families for their vision in starting this organization in 2013.
